भारत के उत्तर-पूर्वी राज्य मेघालय में लोगों के प्रयासों से बने अनोखे प्राकृतिक रूट ब्रिज (Root Bridge) को यूनेस्को विश्व धरोहरों (UNESCO World Heritage) में शामिल किया गया है।

इंसानों और प्रकृति के बीच सामाजिक,सांस्कृतिक और वानस्पतिक संबंधों को उजागर करते ये जीवित रूट ब्रिज मेघालय के 70 से अधिक गांवों में पाए जाते हैं। स्थानीय भाषा में इन्हें 'जिंगकिएंग जेरी' कहा जाता है।
